Although it’s not exactly the most winter friendly ensemble, I wore this only a couple of weeks ago before the weather took a dip. The day was cool and brisk and I was feeling like showing a little skin for a day date. The crop top is from Nasty Gal and I must say it might become one of my all-time favorites. Featuring a v- neck as well as bottom it gives the ladies a nice rounded shape even without a bra! The thick sweater like material is not see through and I was able to rock it au natural (I found the bra gave the look way too much over powering cleavage and shortened the top to where you couldn’t see the V-shape on the bottom). I’ve featured this ribbed royal blue pencil skirt before (it comes in a set) and love the way it gives texture to any outfit. Lastly I threw on this beloved jacket of mine (old season American Apparel) with these new amazing sling back flats I found at Nordstrom Rack from the brand Halogen. I wear them to work, to play and everywhere I go people compliment and ask where they are from. This is the perfect combination of neutrals with small feminine details all the while looking sexy. I saw this gorgeous skirt at Marshalls (such a #fabfound) and knew it had to be mine! The color is so vibrant and easy for summer or fall and the geometric print also gives off a tribal vibe all at the same time. Not only is it versatile and can easily be mixed and matched, the material is incredibly soft, comfortable and super stretchy. The brand is “Matty M” and according to the company Facebook this brand features comfortable clothing meant to transition from runnings errands, meetings or even a night out. It fit the contours of my body, without being too tight and showing off any unsightly bumps or lumps. I paired it with my denim acid wash button up from target (old season),suede peep toe booties and my Salvatore Ferragamo vintage cross body . This was incredibly easy to throw on and would work with so many different color palettes as well as made casual or dressy. For the price point it can’t be beat! Hey Everyone! So, I was visiting my sister in Florida a few weeks ago (oh how I miss the sun, and my sister of course) we were able to sneak in some photo shoot time, which is great for me since I hardly ever post outfit of the day entries. I never bring much clothing with me when I travel to Florida because I know I am going to shop while I am there, and boy did I shop! While everyone was off at work I drove myself to The Florida Mall and had a grand ole’ time. Forever 21 was of course my first stop and I managed to score some great pieces that were on clearance. I put together an outfit that I absolutely love (under $100 might I add).
-The Black peep mesh peplum top is perfect for adding curves to a not so curvy figure (such as mine) and the mesh adds a little sex appeal to a classic top.
-The Green pencil skirt gives this outfit the pop of color it needs.
-The black and gold studded boots are a favorite of mine (from my look for less post) and they give the outfit a nice edge to it.
Black and gold clutch is from H&M
Gold and black earrings are also from Forever 21
To all of my plus size ladies there is ALWAYS a way to put an outfit together while keeping some money in your pockets!
