Hey Everyone! So, I was visiting my sister in Florida a few weeks ago (oh how I miss the sun, and my sister of course) we were able to sneak in some photo shoot time, which is great for me since I hardly ever post outfit of the day entries. I never bring much clothing with me when I travel to Florida because I know I am going to shop while I am there, and boy did I shop! While everyone was off at work I drove myself to The Florida Mall and had a grand ole’ time. Forever 21 was of course my first stop and I managed to score some great pieces that were on clearance. I put together an outfit that I absolutely love (under $100 might I add).

-The Black peep mesh peplum top is perfect for adding curves to a not so curvy figure (such as mine) and the mesh adds a little sex appeal to a classic top.
-The Green pencil skirt gives this outfit the pop of color it needs.
-The black and gold studded boots are a favorite of mine (from my look for less post) and they give the outfit a nice edge to it.

The Look For Less

Hey guys! What a chilly day today in the big apple. It is officially time to bring out the boots! With that being said I’ve been looking for some black and gold studded rocker-ish boots, and guess what? I found them!!!!! I was deliriously excited until I saw the price tag ($1,350). These Chloé boots are to die! I just can’t bring myself to pay more for boots than I do for rent!

Sooooo as you know my bargain loving self went hunting for a close second and where better to look than Forever21. These black faux leather studded booties do not disappoint! Now they do not have the exact design but come pretty close with the studded detailing and gold buckles. They are super comfy which is a plus and the best part is they were only $42.80!

Don’t you just love it when you find something you love at such a good price? That is called happiness in my book!

So remember ladies and gents there is ALWAYS a dupe out there for an item you have got to get your hands on. Yes I know sometimes you would rather have the original but not when you have to sacrifice your life (I would become the woman who lived in her shoe).

Here are my new bad boys. I’m going to wear these for Drake’s concert on Sunday. I hope he likes them!

Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F’ Wit

I finally got my hands on this Wu Tang crop top!!! After waiting it out the first go around on forever 21 online and missing it, they restocked the site with this tighter more cropped version than the previous one. I love the printed graphic (obviously super iconic) and it can be paired with so many items both casual and funky. Such a statement piece for many seasons! I paired it with old high waisted jeans, knee high brown boots (forever 21 old season), a denim vest (lighter wash than my jeans) and a burgundy fringe clutch (old season target). Curly hair felt appropriate for the look and I rocked my natural fro out as well. Its the “Wu Revolution”! Check out the links below.

Reunited and it feels so good.

Oh the holidays, they can either make or break you. Fortunately for me this time around I had my amazing sis get away from the freezing temperatures of NY and come visit us here in the sunshine state. I missed her so much and my wallet definitely suffered as we made up for lost time shopping our lovely brains out. Stay tuned for haul pics of those many items purchased (yes I bought myself a lot of christmas gifts, I deserve them!) Here are some snip-its of our experimental outside photo shoot. Enjoy!

For my first look I went with a semi-fall ish outfit since it was nice enough to bare some skin but yet still appropriate for fall boots and blazers.

My sparkly gold top was thrifted while the light weight grey floral blazer was on clearance for $10 at target! I love stalking my local two target stores and waiting and watching items that I see them continually mark down. The thrill of the hunt!

The most recently purchased item were these amazing high buckled boots. They are half pleather and half suede. They are so chic with a wedged heel and super comfortable to walk in. They also fit my calf area nicely with or without jeans which is typically a major problem for me with boots. I also got them on sale when forever 21 was having a 30% off all boots sale a couple of weeks ago. Love, love and love.

Lastly this is my favorite Jason wu straw bag from his original target launch. I pair it with basically anything I own since its so neutral and casual. It’s so beat up and It’s no longer available in stores but I’m most certainly sure they probably have some floating out there on eBay.

The next look didnt photograph as well but I still desperately wanted to share these pants with the world before they completely sell out on asos. This skinny trouser is the perfect menwear inspired piece but with a major twist! The sexy side mesh inserts with polka dot print make for an unexpected element. Everytime Ive brought these babies out Ive received so many compliments. They are worth the investment for dates, causal outings, even sexy evening wear! I paired them with a satin button up from forever 21 and a set of black gold capped heels as well as flats for a more casual spin on the look.
