Warm Layers

Layering can walk the line between looking chic and sloppy depending on the execution. On colder days the type of layering I would do consist of everything and anything I can get my hands on to keep warm. No consideration for colors, patterns..just throw it on! Since Florida winters aren’t as brutal and its already starting to show signs of letting up, I can actually put together some pieces that are more cohesive. I wanted to keep my look very neutral and also incorporate my hat that I never get to wear. The loose V-neck t-shirt and hat are Forever 21, boyfriend jeans and both sweaters from H&M, Zara patent loafers and ASOS frilly socks. My lip color is the NYX liquid suede lipstick in “Stone Fox” which I felt went with the aesthetic of my muted look. Primark Treasures

While in London I wanted to take advantage of the fact that we were in the city and were able to find time to shop around in Primark! For those that don’t know, Primark is sort of like a fast fashion trendy store similar I would say to Forever 21 but with elements inspired by higher end brands. The prices are comparable as well and I had a blast picking out some staple items for the summer. This black basic dress is a dream! It has ribbed detailing and its body con style sucks me in and makes me feel sexy without showing much (except legs of course). The olive anorak jacket is another must have. Its light weight and unlike my beloved utility vest I’ve featured before, this one has clean lines and can be worn in a more dressed up manner. With a draw string waist it adds absolutely no bulk, I just threw it on and I was out the door. I wore this outfit for an Orlando Blogger meet up event (shout out to Dash Orlando) and paired it with my Aldo lace up booties and gold cat eye sunnies (also purchased in London) for a more relaxed vibe. Pretty in Pastels

Easter is right around the corner and what better way to start representing spring then with gorgeous fresh pastels. I bought these wide leg shorts from Asos a while ago and have been waiting to style them. They go great on casual days with a simple tank top, chunky accesories and sandals or as I styled it here for windy days, loafers and a tucked in button up. As always they are high waist and the mint color really accentuates any skin tone. My striped button up is from Forever 21 and so is my chunky flower necklace. I purchased my Michael Kors loafers at TJMAXX and the neutral tone goes with anything! Pastels can be paired with both neutrals, or color blocked with other pastels to make for perfect spring time look. Im looking forward to rocking these all spring long!
