Blemish Woes & Solutions Part 2

Hey guys! So I am back with part two of the blemish & woes series. I don’t know about everyone else but I seriously freak out when I notice my face isn’t cooperating as I would like it too, or anything else in my life for that matter. Talk about being a neurotic new yorker! Anyway I decided to enter the magical place, let’s all say it together: SEPHORA! Upon entering the skincare section I was greated by a lovely expert who listened to me ramble on about all of my skin concerns. She was able to narrow down my specific needs to: balancing out my combination skin, fighting those pop up blemishes and keeping my skin hydrated.
She proceeded to recommend the DERMAdoctor Ain’t Misbehavin’ Acne Cleanser which is described as a deep clean without overdrying while helping eliminate breakouts. I’ve been using it for almost 2 weeks and I can already notice a difference, I am not breaking out as much as I was before and can notice a more even tone to my skin. She also recommended the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve face cream with super 7 complex. This lightweight cream is designed to hydrate, enhance brightness & clarity as well as defend the skin against wrinkles. I have also been using the cream for about 2 weeks and I am in LOVE! It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. My skin already has that sort of “fresh” glow to it. A little goes a long way as well, just a dime sized squeeze is enough for your entire face and neck. It can also be used day and night.
So my first step is to take my makeup off with my Neutrogena wipes. Then I wet my face a bit and use the DERMAdoctor cleanser. I let my face dry or (I sometimes use my seaweed toner). Lastly I apply the Fresh Lotus face cream, making sure to rub it in all the way down to my neck.
Now I know I posted my nightly skincare routine not too long ago but I was noticing that some of the products weren’t working for me anymore which is why I felt that I needed to changed them up a bit. None the less I have nothing bad to say about them they just aren’t working for me at this particular moment in my life.
So there you have it! My new and improved skincare routine! These products were a bit on the pricey side but they have a pretty generous amount in the containers.
