Classic Fall Look

Although the cold weather was very short lived, here I have a fall appropriate outfit for those lovelies that have to endure actual cold temperatures during this season. Even though Im back in my shorts and tops for the moment, it was great to make use of some of my autum pieces that Ive had in my closet. This knit a-line shift dress is old season from target (Kirna Zabete line) and I paired it with classic patterened tights and high black wedge boots. If its really cold and a turtle neck wont suffice, I threw on my old cozy peacoat. The pastel pink softens the look and contrast the subtle leather details in the dress and boots. Last but certainly not least my new beautiful bag was purchased at Marshalls! Such an amazing find. This Kate Spade chain link bag is neutral and the quilted pattern makes me feel like I have my own little Chanel. I love the simplicity and classic appeal that it will bring to any outfit from here on out. Green with Envy

Hey Everyone! So, I was visiting my sister in Florida a few weeks ago (oh how I miss the sun, and my sister of course) we were able to sneak in some photo shoot time, which is great for me since I hardly ever post outfit of the day entries. I never bring much clothing with me when I travel to Florida because I know I am going to shop while I am there, and boy did I shop! While everyone was off at work I drove myself to The Florida Mall and had a grand ole’ time. Forever 21 was of course my first stop and I managed to score some great pieces that were on clearance. I put together an outfit that I absolutely love (under $100 might I add).

-The Black peep mesh peplum top is perfect for adding curves to a not so curvy figure (such as mine) and the mesh adds a little sex appeal to a classic top.
-The Green pencil skirt gives this outfit the pop of color it needs.
-The black and gold studded boots are a favorite of mine (from my look for less post) and they give the outfit a nice edge to it.

Black and gold clutch is from H&M
Gold and black earrings are also from Forever 21

Pink Floyd & Camo

Oh to reminice on the good days of fall weather! As I edit this post I am bundled up in layers and Gwen is stuck under a pile of snow somewhere in New York. Temperatures have reached new lows as of recent so I will be sharing more “winterized options” but this was a last outfit of the day shot just before the turn for the worse. I love these camoflage jeans that were recently purchased at “Dots” and Ive had this awesome fringe pink floyd top from forever 21 for a long time. I love the baggy loose fit of the top and the fringe can easily be duplicated on any other shirt for a funky edge. I threw my go-to target boots on (old season) and went on with my day feeling comfortable yet stylish. Links Below!

OOTN- Urban Flannel Flair

I visited the mecca (Forever 21) just over two weeks ago and scored this cute little sweatshirt on clearance! I repeat I found a size small on clearance people, this is big news! Usually for the most part I steer clear of the clearance section from forever seeing as it is normally cluttered and hard to sift through. This bad boy was staring up at me and begging to be taken home. I paired it with my go to Zara dark wash jeans, as well as old season Target plaid booties. The contrast between the two different plaid prints made for an interesting and comfortable urban fall look. Links to similar items below!

Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F’ Wit

I finally got my hands on this Wu Tang crop top!!! After waiting it out the first go around on forever 21 online and missing it, they restocked the site with this tighter more cropped version than the previous one. I love the printed graphic (obviously super iconic) and it can be paired with so many items both casual and funky. Such a statement piece for many seasons! I paired it with old high waisted jeans, knee high brown boots (forever 21 old season), a denim vest (lighter wash than my jeans) and a burgundy fringe clutch (old season target). Curly hair felt appropriate for the look and I rocked my natural fro out as well. Its the “Wu Revolution”! Check out the links below.

Quick OOTN Inspiration

This is a quickie post seeing as I didn’t get too many photos, but I wanted to share this awesome little number I got at forever 21! Perfect for a night out this sexy dress features a geometric print with a waist cutout and exposed zipper. For only $15.80 I thought it was a steal and a complete easy look to throw on in a hurry. I paired it with red mary jane pumps from target, but it can also be played up with Neon’s as pictured on the forever 21 site. Links Below!

Nume Magic Wand

Hey Everyone! It’s been way too long! The end of summer has approached NYC and I am so sad about it. I always think summer will be a relaxing time, but it never really is with all the traveling, parties, BBQ’s, picnics (I am not complaining) but being busy with life kept me away from blogging as often as I should, I know, I know my sister already lectured me on this, So sorry guys!

In other news I racked up some pretty awesome stuff over the last few weeks and I am super excited to share them with you! I will first start off with the very popular Nume magic curling wand. I ordered the 25mm barrel which I would describe as the “medium” sized one. I was looking to create “beachy waves” which is why I chose that size (The 32mm wouldn’t have much of an effect on my thin hair where as the 19mm would have given me tighter curls). Beachy waves are an awesome summer look which can also transition to any other time of the year. Check out how I created the wavy look down below.

I am so happy with my Nume purchase! I also want to mention that my waves remained in tact the next morning as well, I just added some texturizing balm, hairspray and ran out the door! Fine haired girls can have awesome hair too!
