OOTD: Black Blazer

Once it starts to become a bit cooler out my absolute go to piece of clothing is a blazer. A simple look like a white t-shirt and jeans can be easily transformed by adding a classic staple piece such as a black blazer. I am obsessed with hats so of course I had to throw one on to complete this look, check it out below…

Now depending on where you are going this outfit can be worn casually or somewhat dressed up. For a day time look this could be paired with flats or your choice of low heeled boots, for an evening look adding a pair of pumps or some sort of heel as I did gives the look a more polished feel.

Marshalls “FabFound” -Matty M Score!

I saw this gorgeous skirt at Marshalls (such a #fabfound) and knew it had to be mine! The color is so vibrant and easy for summer or fall and the geometric print also gives off a tribal vibe all at the same time. Not only is it versatile and can easily be mixed and matched, the material is incredibly soft, comfortable and super stretchy. The brand is “Matty M” and according to the company Facebook this brand features comfortable clothing meant to transition from runnings errands, meetings or even a night out. It fit the contours of my body, without being too tight and showing off any unsightly bumps or lumps. I paired it with my denim acid wash button up from target (old season),suede peep toe booties and my Salvatore Ferragamo vintage cross body . This was incredibly easy to throw on and would work with so many different color palettes as well as made casual or dressy. For the price point it can’t be beat! Gap Boyfriend Denim Shorts

On my last post I shared my outfit from the grand opening of the Gap at Millenia Mall and getting to meet Melanie Pace. I was actually on the hunt for some boyfriend jeans but when I arrived I was distracted by the sale on all shorts! Naturally I gravitated towards the “boyfriend” section and fell in love with this light wash pair. They are super comfortable, 100% durable cotton and feature slight distressing/fringe and rolled up cuffs. I am still going back for the original long pair but these are a perfect addition to any summer wardrobe. I paired them with my studded Target sandals, a plain black button up from The Limited and my black crochet Old Navy purse that I’ve had for ages. For a different aesthetic throw on an actual white tee from your boyfriend (was going to be my second option). Check these bad boys out in all the different washes they have to offer. Denim on Denim

Hey everyone, I have another outfit of the day! I am so glad my sister was able to snap a few shots of yet another one of my favorite looks. While in Florida I was able to wear shorts and leave the house without a million layers on, how exciting right? So lets jump right in! My previous look (Green with envy) was a more of a going out kind of outfit as oppose to this one which is super casual and trendy. I paired some older pieces with newer ones creating a laid back feel.

Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F’ Wit

I finally got my hands on this Wu Tang crop top!!! After waiting it out the first go around on forever 21 online and missing it, they restocked the site with this tighter more cropped version than the previous one. I love the printed graphic (obviously super iconic) and it can be paired with so many items both casual and funky. Such a statement piece for many seasons! I paired it with old high waisted jeans, knee high brown boots (forever 21 old season), a denim vest (lighter wash than my jeans) and a burgundy fringe clutch (old season target). Curly hair felt appropriate for the look and I rocked my natural fro out as well. Its the “Wu Revolution”! Check out the links below.

90’s Revival

I absolutely love the comeback of the grunge/hiphop/comfort vibe of the 90’s. This trend can be interpreted in so many different ways! You can take it to completely different sides of the spectrum and rock “lilith fair” florals or get straight up gangster on everyone and wear rap inspired baggy pieces and blingy jewlery. The coming and going of seasonal concerts also adds spark to the trend (coachella, ultra etc) and these looks can bring out the edgier side of anyone. Seen on stars like Cassie this trend is not for the meek as it entails bold statement pieces and larger than life accesories. Combat boots, beanies, track pants, graphic tees, muscle tanks, flower head pieces,jean jackets, overalls, plaid and so much more! The 90’s were all about comfort (take reebox classics with high tube socks for instance), care free attitude and disregard for the “fashion rules”. On this lovely saturday morning I plan to sleep in and indulge in all things “bad” for me. Since Im not going anywhere special I opted for my version of a “casual” look. I have been dying to wear these heels anywhere, even now to walmart! My basic v-neck white long sleeve shirt is from target while the denim vest was purchased at old navy. The olive cargos are ridiculously old (you can ask my sister)…I think Ive had them since the 8th grade! Im not sure if I should be admitting that on here but hey..what can you do? I found some similar versions below. Lastly my leopard and gold hardware heels are from forever 21. They are super comfortable despite their “edgy” look.
