Unlike me and my horrible gift giving decisions, my sister Gwen is awesome at picking out items she knows I would love. Yes I may have hinted at this all christmas season but she knew that not just any old fanny pack would do for this girl! She bought this awesome faux leather rhinestone encrusted Kimchi Blue one from Urban Outfitters. It also features matte muted sequins as the backdrop for the jewels. I love love love this bag! I can throw it on with anything and it instantly adds texture, interest and a focal point to any look. Fanny packs are also awesome for keeping your hands free and enabling those who have issues with carrying everything (like myself when I have a huge purse) to downsize and only bring the essentials. I paired it with some H&M high waist blush shorts, forever 21 linen blazer,lace detailed camisole and gold capped black basic heels (all old season items). Links below to get a similar look!

Feeling sexy is subjective and it cannot be made more clear by the plethora of different looks and styles that are “trending”. Both me and my sister have very different views on what looks or makes us feel sexy and I have to say a good nude shoe has got to be top five for me. This outfit is based off this old season pair of sandals/heels from forever 21. I love the way they elongate my leg (as a proper tone nude shoe is supposed to) and the sparkle detail gives it a pop that I love! This is such a special shoe in that it can be paired so many different ways and everytime I wear them I feel chic and pretty while at the same time being a little enticing. This time I played off the neutrals vibe and wore a sheer creme top with rolled up sleeves, for a nice element of surprise I chose neon yellow/green shorts from the Jennifer Lopez collection at Kohls. The body chain added another sexy touch as it defined my waist a little bit from the oversized shirt.

They are now on sale for 50% on forever 21’s website and originally priced at $39.80. Check out how I styled mine below. Target denim button up, Forever 21 mustard pencil skirt and loose waved curls for a simple casual day. At the advice of online reviews I sized down and got a 5.5 and they fit perfect! Sam Edelman heels are classic and beautiful,high-end enough to be saved for special occasions, but not so out of range that its impossible to obtain a pair. In comes Target! Yet again they’ve hit the nail on the head with this collaboration. I’ve mentioned the summer sandals in a previous post Sam & Libby Sandals and now I’ve gone ahead and purchased this basic statement heel with a twist. Featuring a spiked heel and snake print embossed on the front, this heel provides enough embellishments for a night out but is also subdued enough for a work day as I wore it. I went for a business casual look (appropriate for my dress code at work) and went with all black with hints of print. My black fitted turtle neck is a staple for these fall months as well as these high waist trousers from American apparel. Top it off with a houndstooth cardigan and a crème scarf and your all set for a high stakes day, or a chill evening out. The height make them super comfy and easy to move around in. While gift shopping at my local mall I came across these bad boys and knew they had to be mine immediately! Not only are they incredibly sexy but they are functional and within a limited budget! Forget everyone’s gifts, I was in heaven prancing around Forever 21 deciding which size suited me best. I opted for my standard size 6, although the 5.5 did fit me I felt slightly less tension on the back with my normal size. The “Modernist Buckled Heel” offers a cool funky geometric cut with two buckled ankle straps. They are as stylish and classic as heels but are comfortable enough to be compared to wedges as well. They are faux suede and come in at a cool $32.80, whats not to love? I styled them with old season zebra harem pants (also from forever 21) and a crisp white button up suitable for work attire or a casual day out. Simple minimalist jewelry and my hair up in braids. I love how they can transition easily from day to-night and I will be making use of these babies for some time to come. Links Below!

Hey guys! What a chilly day today in the big apple. It is officially time to bring out the boots! With that being said I’ve been looking for some black and gold studded rocker-ish boots, and guess what? I found them!!!!! I was deliriously excited until I saw the price tag ($1,350). These Chloé boots are to die! I just can’t bring myself to pay more for boots than I do for rent!
Sooooo as you know my bargain loving self went hunting for a close second and where better to look than Forever21. These black faux leather studded booties do not disappoint! Now they do not have the exact design but come pretty close with the studded detailing and gold buckles. They are super comfy which is a plus and the best part is they were only $42.80!
Don’t you just love it when you find something you love at such a good price? That is called happiness in my book!
So remember ladies and gents there is ALWAYS a dupe out there for an item you have got to get your hands on. Yes I know sometimes you would rather have the original but not when you have to sacrifice your life (I would become the woman who lived in her shoe).
Here are my new bad boys. I’m going to wear these for Drake’s concert on Sunday. I hope he likes them!

This outfit was put together very last minute as what I had originally planned to wear to this event didn’t quite work out. I wanted to keep it a little more dressy and girly than your average casual outfit considering I was going to The Make Up show not only to shop but hopefully to network and meet one of my favorite youtube gurus @nicoleguerriero. Heels were a must and I opted for this low pair from target Ive previously featured so I could stand and walk for an extended period. My top is Michael Kors via Tjmaxx and the high waist black and gold shorts are from forever 21. Threw on my new Phillip Lim satchel (my baby) and I was off to the show!
